Chef Thia’s Chimichurri Sauce
In Taste the Islands Season II, Episode 1, Chef Thia pairs a moist, Latin-American inspired grilled Churrasco steak with a tart Chimichurri Sauce. - 1/2 cup curly parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Italian flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup white onion
- 1/3 cup red onion
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine red wine vinegar, red and white onion, kosher salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
Add parsley and cilantro, and olive oil. Stir until oil and vinegar are combined and set aside to drizzle over Churrasco Steak.
