Hello Friends! It’s a few weeks before we need to deliver the newer, bigger, better episodes of “Taste the Islands” to our public television broadcast partner, but we need some help.
“Taste the Islands” is public television’s only national Caribbean culinary series, and it takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears to put it together. It also takes a lot of money. Thanks to our Season 2 partners – Barbados, Grace Foods, Lakay Foods, Caribbean Airlines and Wright Style Clothing, we’re almost over the hump. But we still need a bit more to cover all the labor, technical and broadcast expenses it takes to get a series on air. We have a saying in Jamaica – “One on cocoa full basket”. We need a few more cocoas!
If you enjoy the shows, the site, Chef Irie and his friends, and the Caribbean food and culture information you learn about through our various channels, even if you just love Caribbean energy and would like to see more of it on TV. please give what you can starting at $10, to help us get this awesome new season of “Taste the Islands” on the air.
Larger contributions will have their name or company credited on air. All levels of contribution receive perks like signed cookbooks, early access to watch, and personalized thank you notes signed by the stars of the show.
Please click the link to our Indiegogo campaign and read about our story. Then please give what you can to ensure that we can share “Taste the Islands Season 2” with you, our awesome audience, in 2017.
Our entire team thanks you!
