Caribbean Rum Punch
Rum Punch is a favorite drink during the festive season in Jamaica and other parts of the Caribbean. The basic recipe is as simple as counting 1,2,3.
Serves 8
- 1 cup lemon or lime juice
- 2 cups syrup (strawberry flavored or any other simple red color syrup)
- 3 cups white over proof rum
- 4 cups of fruit juice ( 2 cups pineapple juice and 2 cups orange juice)
- Slices of lime and or slices of pineapple for garnish
- Mix all ingredients together in a large punch bowl
- Garnish with slices of lime and/or pineapple
- Place in refrigerator to chill for about 2 hours
- Serve cold over ice
